Studia Ucrainica Varsoviensia, published since 2013, is dedicated to current problems of Ukrainian studies, research in the field of linguistics, literary and cultural studies in the broadest sense. Studia Ucrainica Varsoviensia is a place for the integration of Ukrainian studies and scientific communities, a forum for the exchange of ideas and views of researchers from Polish and Ukrainian scientific centers. The research results presented in the journal are interdisciplinary and go beyond the framework of traditional scientific disciplines. Studies in linguistics are devoted to issues of lexicology, lexicography, stylistics, word-formation, morphology and syntax of modern Ukrainian; issues of sociolinguistics and the status of the Ukrainian language in Ukraine; issues of onomastics and Polish-Ukrainian linguistic contacts in historical anthroponymy as well as issues of translation studies, anthropological linguistics and comparative linguistics. Studies in literary studies deal with literature from the earliest times to the present, literary comparatism, anthropology of literature, Polish-Ukrainian literary relations, contemporary discourses, including identity discourse. Cultural studies are devoted to a wide spectrum of socio-cultural phenomena, the problems of the borderland between culture and literature, anthropology and art history.
The journal is on the ranking list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland with 20 points for publication
